Pai-Yue Lu-Fritts, M.D.

Pai-Yue Lu-Fritts, M.D.

Pai-Yue Lu-Fritts, M.D., MSc, is the pediatric rheumatologist at Shriners Hospitals for Children Medical Center — Lexington and is board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics. She is the section head of pediatric rheumatology at UK Healthcare and an assistant professor of pediatrics at University of Kentucky. She received an undergraduate degree in biology with a concentration in neurobiology and behavior from Cornell University and earned a medical degree from New York Medical College. In addition, Dr. Lu-Fritts received her M.Sc. in clinical and translational research from the University of Cincinnati. Dr. Lu-Fritts completed her pediatrics residency and a fellowship in clinical and translational  medicine and in pediatric rheumatology at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center.

Areas of special interest to Dr. Lu-Fritts include the diagnosis, treatment and management of childhood rheumatologic diseases, autoimmune diseases, autoinflammatory diseases and musculoskeletal pain.

Dr. Lu-Fritts is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics, Childhood Arthritis & Rheumatology Research Alliances, American College of Rheumatology and American Medical Association.
